Campground Rules are for your protection and comfort.

Rivers Edge Campground Rules and Regulations

 

  1. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR DRUGS ALLOWED.
  2. NO SWIMMING ALLOWED.
  3. ALL FIREARMS, EXPLOSIVES, OR FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND ARE
    PROHIBITED FROM THE CAMPGROUNDS.
  4. Overnight camping is allowed only by permit from campground staff.
  5. Only one family party shall occupy a single campsite unless otherwise approved by the campground staff.
  6. Visitors are required to sign in and to leave campground by
    8:00PM, gate will be closed and locked at that time, by the
    Campground staff.
  7. Permits will be valid only on dates and during period of time indicated.
  8. All camping parties must obtain a camping permit and pay the established fee before setting up the camping unit.
  9. All camping units must be established and registered by 8:OOPM and vacated by 3:OOPM on the last day of the camping permit period.
  10. No camping unit shall be set up beyond the limits of the campsite. You will not put anything on the berms at the river but electric cords and water hoses. The berms are not for storage of any kind, they are not for camping or for the campers to use for camping or storage.
  11. Camping permits must be in the possession of camping group during camp out. The adult in whose name the camping permit is issued accepts responsibility for the actions of any and all campers in the group/visitors.
  12. A camping party may not move from its assigned campsite to another campsite with out prior approval by campground staff.
  13. All campers must set up a camping unit. Sleeping in cars or on the ground in the open is not permitted.
  14. Camping permit extensions must be obtained prior to 10:00AM on the expiration date of permit.
  15. Limit of two motor vehicles per campsite shall not be parked beyond the limits of the campsite. Park on the graveled spots on the campsites. Cars must be parked by 10:00pm, this is quiet time.
  16. Only one picnic table per campsite.
  17. Dogs or cats shall be kept attended on a leash in the owners presence at all times. Must register all pets with campground staff.
  18. DISORDERLY CONDUCT OF EXCESSIVE NOISE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
    Examples: lewd, vulgar, boisterous, unnecessarily loud behavior, disorderly conduct, littering, unauthorized selling or destructive acts and tampering with campground property. N0 refunds shall be given on camping permits for these reasons.
  19. Cooking or other Fires may be built only at established sites unless permission is otherwise obtained from a campground staff.
  20. DESTROYING, DAMAGING, PRUNING, OR TRANSPLANTING OF TREES, SHRUBS, FLOWERS, OR OTHER PLANTS IS UN-WARRANTED. This rule applies in particular to the misguided use of Knives and Hatchets in cutting down branches and in felling young trees.
  21. Firewood gathering is limited to dead and downed wood only with permission from campground staff. No limbs, branches, or bark may be taken from standing trees and no firewood may be removed from another campsite whether occupied or not. Firewood is for sale by campground staff.
  22. Quiet hours are from 10:00PM to 6:00AM. Cars are to be parked by then.
  23. Upon your departure all litter must be removed and deposited in the appropriate receptacles. All campsites shall be cleaned of refuse before leaving.
  24. Grey water and/or sewage water must be disposed of in the sanitary dump stations.
  25. A violation of any of the above rules may result in revocation of permit without refund of overnight camping privileges of the responsible individuals and/or organization.
  26. Campground management is the final authority regarding interpretation of the rules.
